Kleos says what it is at the start of the call. It never claims to be a specific person, and if you ask it directly whether you are talking to a machine, it answers honestly and immediately. That holds on this line and on every call Kleos places for a customer.

Calls are not recorded by default

Audio recording is off unless a campaign has cleared the region, notice and approval checks that permit it. A written summary is the normal record of a call, not a recording of your voice.

State rules only ever tighten what Kleos does

Several US states have enacted bot-disclosure statutes. Kleos resolves the state from the number it is calling and applies the stricter of the federal baseline and that state's rule. The layer can make disclosure more forthcoming; it is not able to make it less.

Consent is a gate, not a checkbox

The FCC has confirmed that AI-generated voices fall within the TCPA restrictions on artificial and prerecorded voice. Kleos treats consumer and reactivation calling as consent-first, and a campaign without a documented lawful basis does not dial.
